
Program Coordinator (Part-Time)

A Single Impact (ASI) is seeking an inaugural Program Coordinator to organize and expand its programs and overall impact. This position would report to the Director of Operations and is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a visionary organization with a broad, supportive network. About A Single Impact:
With the loneliness epidemic growing, many are looking for ways to meaningfully connect with those in a similar stage of life. A Single Impact provides support, resources, and advocacy for frum singles, empowering participants with opportunities for connection, making an impact on the greater frum community, and educating communities on acceptance for all.
- Support: Providing connection and networking opportunities to enhance life as a single person
- Resources: Creation of initiatives and programs to support participants and community members
- Relaying struggles faced by many singles; provide resources for additional growth for singles and the community.
- Advocacy: Discussions with community leaders to advance communal solutions
Primary Responsibilities:
Programming:
- Organize, expand, and enhance current programs, to include securing program locations and set dates/times for programs; maintain registration and attendance tracking; assist with marketing and outreach efforts
- Maintain shared systems and digital files
- Develop the networks of participants through ongoing, interactive, and innovative experiences.
- Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and supporting atmosphere at all events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Expertise in project and program management, with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute both big-picture goals and detailed tasks.
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Competency with or willingness to learn data management, social media/marketing, and budget management.
- Outstanding relationship-building and customer-service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for ASI’s mission and familiarity with the Orthodox Jewish community.
Work Hours, Compensation, and Benefits:
- Part-time 1099 position: 5-10 hours per week with room for growth.
- Hybrid position with some limited in-person meetings in Pikesville, MD, including weekends and evenings.
- Compensation: $25.00/hour. No benefits are available.
